    As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a Sales Manager to lead our team in Italy. 

    Le responsabilità / The Responsibilities

    • Reinforce, establish and extend Ortho’s presence in the area. Acquiring new customers and development of
    • key opinion leaders and National/Regional Health Care Authorities relationship.
    • Identify and approach new business opportunities and implement additional assets from existing customer base
    • Ensure business results, in terms of sales and profit, in line with business plan for Italy, and increment Market Share. 
    • Work with Business Director, Finance, Business Analyst and Ortho Care to ensure and optimize profitability of business for each LOB.
    • Accelerate growth of sales winning new competitive gains and protect/maintain current customers.
    • Coach and manage the sales team through constant feedback and regular performances evaluation.
    • Proactively forecast of market, industry, technology and competitive trends. Provide accurate monthly/quarterly sales and system forecast.
    • Manage a range of internal business processes and interfaces incl. to support developmentof marketing plans and aligning sales force to marketing plans.
    • Ensure on the return of investments decided in cooperation with marketing
    • Calculate offering preparation and sales models, incl. profit contribution
    • Manage proactively selection of tender offering and secure proceeding of offering
    • Maintain a constant focus on how regulatory requirements and compliance guidelinesimpact the business
    • Ensure cooperation with Laboratory / Ortho Care & Technical Solutions as well as overseeinginventory management, forecasting and facilitating internal Ortho division tasks.
    • Ensure that the sales team uses all company tools available

    L'individuo / The Individual

    University Degree required; MBA Masters in Chemistry, Biology, BioTech, Medical Tech, Pharmacy
    Long Term experienced in Clinical Diagnostics, Blood Transfusion, Clinical Chemistry, Immunhematology or Hematology with solid understanding of trends in the diagnostic market, incl. factors that influence the  Italy-market places.

    An experience of 5-7 years leading a sales team is required within a culture of personal accountability.

    Understanding of full Italian market 
    Proven Track record in consultative selling and developing effective sales tools for complete and profitable
    solutions
    Excellent acumen of general financial concepts and the financial drivers for hospitals and labs to create
    tailored financial solutions for customers
    Proficient at analyzing sales / commercial data and identify key trends or drivers of change
    Strong in presentation and negotiations in accordance critical financial implications of customer prospects
    purchasing decisions to a variety of stakeholders
    Convincing personality, personal resilience
    Enthusiasm and ability to drive people and processes
